A couple was arrested on Wednesday (March 25, 2026) for allegedly stoning to death a man accused of murdering their son, near Thalavadi. The police said Madhappa and his wife Thottamma, residents of Doddagajanur, had lost their son Raghavan, 11, in a double murder last year. The boy and his grandmother Chikkamma, 55, were found murdered with a hammer on April 12, 2025.
