The South India Corrugated Box Manufacturers’ Association, Coimbatore, has announced that owing to steep hike in raw material because of the ongoing war scenario, the box manufacturers have raised the cost of corrugated boxes by 25 per cent. Urging the customers to support them in the challenging times, the association cited that the prices for raw materials such as graft paper has gone up by ₹5,000 to ₹8,000 and steep hike in labour cost has forced them to increase the price.
