Deputy Commissioner of Yadgir Harshal Boyar | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT Deputy Commissioner Harshal Bhoyar has appointed a committee to investigate alleged threats to artistes and damage to music equipment during an event organised by employees of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department of Karnataka. According to a press note released on January 6, following a media report, the committee was formed to investigate the alleged incident on January 2 night. RDPR Department employees had organised the musical event during which artistes were allegedly threatened and their musical equipment was damaged. The Assistant Commissioner of Yadgir Sub-Division Sridhar Goturu, who is the head of the committee, was asked to conduct an investigation and submit a report. C.B. Devaramani, Planning Director of Zilla Panchayat, and Lakshmikanth, Planning Director of the District Urban Development Cell, are members of the committee.
