Vengadesh Collectors of Tiruchi, Ariyalur, Karur, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur and other districts on Sunday held meetings with election officials to enforce the Model Code of Conduct following the announcement of the Assembly election schedule. In Tiruchi, a control room has been opened to receive complaints on violation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), according to Collector V. Saravanan, who is also the District Election Officer.
