Collector R. Alagumeena handing over job order to a woman in Nagercoil. Kanniyakumari District Collector R. Alagumeena on Sunday distributed job offer letters to candidates recruited through placement drive conducted for women. The drive was organised by the district administration in partnership with District Skill Development Corporation and Tamil Nadu Startup and Innovation Mission. Ms. Alagumeena said that the Tamil Nadu government had been organising such employment camps with the aim of encouraging educated youth, especially young women to improve their livelihoods.
