Coimbatore MSMEs await development of technology centre

Coimbatore’s wait for a technology centre for Micro, Small and Medium-scale Enterprises (MSMEs) continues though land was identified and handed over for the project more than a couple of years ago.

“There are reports that the land will be used to set up a tool room for MSMEs. But, what the MSMEs want is a technology centre. The industries are adopting robotics and that they need such latest technology support,” said an industry leader here.
