PERIASAMY The Coimbatore Corporation has proposed the establishment of five exclusive pink parks for women across the city at a total estimated cost of ₹3.75 crore, in addition to the two pink parks under construction at Ward 40 in Vadavalli and Ward 94 in Sundarapuram. According to officials, the pink parks are being designed to enable women to undertake walking, yoga, exercise, sports and leisure activities in a dedicated space. The initiative aims to facilitate social interaction, reduce stress and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
