Posters featuring Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon from ‘Cocktail 2’ | Photo Credit: Maddock Films The makers of Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon’s upcoming film, Cocktail 2, announced its release date on Friday, March 13, 2026. The Homi Adajania directorial will be released in theatres on June 19. The makers unveiled character posters of the three to make the announcement. Its first look will be released on March 18 in theatres. The film is a spiritual sequel to Homi’s 2012 romantic-comedy starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty. Set in London, the film featured a love triangle between the three leads. It was well-received at the box office and collected over Rs 120 crore. Cocktail 2 has been written by Luv Ranjan and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. It will mark the first collaboration of Shahid and Rashmika and the second outing for Shahid and Kriti afterTeri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya(2024). Meanwhile, Shahid was recently seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s O’Romeo. He also has Farzi 2 in the pipeline.
