Rameswaram fishermen have been advised not to venture out for fishing in Pamban-Kunnthukal sea area on Thursday as the Coastal Security Forces would be conducting live firing exercises. According to a press release issued by the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) Station in Mandapam, the Indian Coast Guard would be conducting a firing practice session in the Gulf of Mannar, specifically in the Pamban-Kunnthukal sea area near Rameswaram, on April 2, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fishermen are strictly requested not to enter this designated zone during the specified hours.
