Stalin laid the foundation stone for fishing infrastructure projects worth over ₹600 crore in Kanniyakumari and Thoothukudi districts on Wednesday, through video conference. In Kanniyakumari district, the project includes the construction of a new fishing harbour at Vaaniyakkudi at a cost of ₹150 crore and expansion of Colachel fishing harbour at an estimated cost of ₹150 crore.
