Chief Minister M.K. Stalin called on Governor R.N. Ravi at Lok Bhavan, Tamil Nadu, on Saturday. | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Saturday (March 7, 2026) called on Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi, who has been posted as the Governor of West Bengal. Mr. Stalin met Mr. Ravi at Lok Bhavan, Tamil Nadu, and greeted him on his appointment as West Bengal Governor. He also presented him with a statuette of Tamil saint-poet Tiruvalluvar. Mr. Ravi assumed office as the Governor of Tamil Nadu on September 18, 2021. Recently, he was appointed as the Governor of West Bengal, while Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar will hold additional charge as the Governor of Tamil Nadu. Separately, Mr. Stalin also paid tributes to late DMK stalwart and former Minister K. Anbazhagan on his death anniversary. In a post on X, Mr. Stalin recalled how Anbazhagan stood firmly with DMK patriarch M. Karunanidhi when the party faced a crisis and later served as a guiding light for him as well.
