Chief Minister Revanth Reddy alleged that the Union Government was “strategically linking” the Women’s Reservation Bill with the proposed delimitation of constituencies to create a misleading narrative that Opposition parties are obstructing reforms. Addressing a press conference, he said the Centre was convening special sessions of the Parliament and creating “unnecessary urgency” around two unrelated issues, women’s reservation and delimitation. “These are separate matters and must be discussed and implemented independently with clear procedures,” he argued.
