Revanth Reddy raised the apprehensions of the Southern States and smaller States of losing political relevance due to the proposed delimitation exercise in the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting. According to sources, Mr. Reddy opposed the delimitation exercise proposed by the BJP government, cautioning that any move to alter the existing parliamentary representation could undermine the political relevance of smaller States and disturb the federal balance.
