Amidst political activities heating up across Virudhunagar district ahead of April 23 Assembly election, the sea of devotees coming for Paraskathi Mariamman temple festival in Virudhunagar town is likely to bring the heart of the town to a standstill on April 5 and 6.

The Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s election campaign on the outskirts of Virudhunagar on Sunday is likely to draw a huge crowd. Vehicles are likely to queue up at different parts of the town.
