Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his wife N. Bhuvaneswari during the Sankranti festivities at their ancestral Naravaripalle residence, near Tirupati, on Wednesday. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu highlighted the importance of tracing one’s cultural roots at the Bhogi celebrations conducted at his residence at Naravaripalle village in Tirupati district on Wednesday. Referring to the Sankranti festivities that reflected the NDA government’s emphasis on preserving cultural heritage, while staying connected with rural communities, Mr. Naidu underlined the government’s commitment to safeguarding and propagating Telugu traditions. Accompanied by his wife N. Bhuvaneswari, Mr. Naidu posed for photographs with ‘Haridasulu’ and ‘Gangireddulu’ on the occasion. Mr. Naidu’s son and IT Minister N. Lokesh, Chandragiri MLA Pulivarthi Nani and youth leader P. Vinil toured Naravaripalle and interacted with the residents. They reviewed the local arrangements, discussed development initiatives, and engaged with the people to assess the grassroots issues. The celebrations witnessed the participation of leaders and cadre from the alliance parties and local residents in large numbers, projecting it into a show of political unity in the NDA regime.
