Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu arrived in Tirumala, the sacred abode of Lord Venkateswara, on Friday evening on a two-day visit, during which he is scheduled to offer prayers and inaugurate key infrastructure facilities aimed at enhancing pilgrim services.

On his arrival at the Gayatri Sadan rest house, Mr. Naidu was accorded a warm welcome by TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, Executive Officer M. Ravichandra, Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, along with other district and senior officials.

Mr. Naidu, who will stay overnight atop the hills, is scheduled to offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara in the early hours of Saturday followed by a visit to the Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Nitya Annadanam Complex, where he will personally serve breakfast to pilgrims and interact with them, underscoring the government’s emphasis on service and outreach.

As part of the itinerary, the Chief Minister will also inspect the state-of-the-art Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), a key initiative aimed at bolstering surveillance, crowd management and overall temple administration.

The Chief Minister is also scheduled to inaugurate the Water and Food Analysis Laboratory and the State Food Laboratory established in collaboration with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), marking a significant step towards ensuring quality and safety in food and water services for devotees.

Winding up his tour, he will later motor down to Renigunta Airport and depart for Hyderabad.
