Udayagiri MLA Kakarla Suresh reviewing arrangements in Vinjamur mandal of Nellore district on Friday, ahead of the proposed visit of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Udayagiri constituency in Sri Potti Sri Ramulu Nellore district is gearing up for the proposed visit of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

After returning to power in 2024, this is for the first time that Mr. Naidu is visiting the constituency, which is known for its backwardness and remote location, and as such expectations are high among the public over the visit.

The visit was originally scheduled for March 28, but has reportedly been moved to April 1 to coincide with the distribution of welfare pensions.

Though the final schedule is unclear yet, Udayagiri MLA Kakarla Suresh has inspected the arrangements for the proposed visit in the mandal headquarter town of Vinjamur.

Accompanied by Joint Collector M. Venkateswarlu, Revenue Divisional Officers (RDO) of Atmakur and Kavali, and officials of various line departments, Mr. Suresh visited the areas likely to be visited by the Chief Minister and reviewed the arrangements required.

The venue of the public meeting, stage construction, regulated inflow and outflow of public, parking lots, drinking water facility, electricity, sanitation, first-aid facility and traffic control were among the issues discussed.

“The visit is expected to focus on balanced development of the region, address the people’s long-standing woes and reaching out the welfare schemes to the intended beneficiaries,” Mr. Suresh said. He called upon the officials to ensure hassle-free movement of the people from the constituency into the venue.
