Chief Justice given warm welcome at Madurai Bench

We must approach our duties with a service-first mindset ensuring that the doors of this bench are never too heavy for the marginalised to push open, said Madras High Court Chief Justice Sushrut Arvind Dharmadhikari, in his reply to the welcome accorded to him at the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court here on Monday.

As we move forward, our collective focus must remain on ensuring that the temple of justice remains accessible and efficient, reducing the burden of pendency that weighs heavily on the litigants. We must always bear in mind that behind every case in this court there is a person seeking hope, redress, or peace. Our true measure of success is not found in the number of cases disposed of, but in the trust the common citizen places in us, he said.
