Ravindran Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre on Saturday launched its “Genomic Lifestyle Counselling” (GLC) programme. This was designed to integrate genetic insights with personalised lifestyle interventions for the prevention and management of metabolic diseases. V. Mohan, chairman, Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre, said this was the era of precision medicine. “Precision medicine is about giving the right treatment, right care at the right time to the right patient,” he said, adding that it includes precision diagnosis, prevention and treatment.
