Southern Railway has effected a change in the departure time of Thanjavur-Mayiladuthurai Passenger service (train no: 56826) from Thanjavur. As per an official release, the service leaves Thanjavur by 2.25 p.m. instead of 12.30 p.m. and reaches Mayiladuthurai by 5.20 p.m. As usual, the train which arrives at Kuttalam by around 4.11 p.m. will take another 60 to 65 minutes to reach the destination.
