ASHOK Teams constituted to facilitate the postal voting for senior citizens aged above 85 years and the persons with disabilities, began collecting the votes from doorsteps in the 10 Assembly constituencies in Madurai district, on Monday. Senior citizens aged 85 years and above and the differently abled persons are eligible to cast their votes through the postal ballot in the Assembly elections. Form 12 D for postal ballot were distributed and arrangements were made to collect votes directly from the homes of senior citizens and the persons with disabilities.
