A case has been registered against the Haldiram’s outlet in Attapur, Hyderabad, after a customer alleged that she was sold fungus-infected sweets. According to the complaint, the woman purchased sweets worth ₹100 from the store and later found them to be infected with fungus. When she confronted the shop staff, they allegedly abused her and used filthy language. Subsequently, photographs and videos surfaced online showing infested sweets. Officials said samples have been collected from the outlet and will be sent for analysis by the food safety inspector. A case was registered by the Attapur police and further investigation is underway.
