A one-day capacity-building programme on water audit and water–energy saving opportunities for MSME units was organised in Karaikal on Wednesday under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme of the Union Ministry of MSME, supported by the World Bank. The programme, was jointly organised by the National Productivity Council (NPC), Chennai, and the Puducherry Industrial Promotion Development and Investment Corporation (PIPDIC). It aimed to enhance the role of MSMEs in achieving green sustainability by improving operational efficiency, reducing water and energy costs, strengthening water security, and enhancing competitiveness.
