Braving a hot summer forenoon on Monday, candidates of the AIADMK and the Congress campaigned across Singanallur constituency. The incumbent MLA, K.R. Jayaram, is seeking a second term and former AIADMK Minister S.P. Velumani, who campaigned for him at Sungam grounds in Ondipudur, said Mr. Jayaram will win with a margin of more than 50,000 votes.
