Bus falls into stream, several injured near Bhadravathi

A private bus carrying passengers from Davangere to Bhadravathi fell off the bridge at Kagehalla, near Bhadravathi, on Monday (March 30), leaving around 35 people, including the driver and conductor, injured.

The driver lost control over the bus while crossing the bridge. The vehicle hit the retaining wall and fell into the stream.

Owing to the low water level in the stream, the incident caused no major damage to the vehicle. All passengers escaped with minor injuries. They have been shifted to hospitals in Bhadravathi and Shivamogga.
