Bus conductor found dead in sewage canal near Koyambedu depot

The police have begun an investigation into the death of a 51-year-old State Express Transport Corporation (SETC) bus conductor, whose body was discovered in a sewage canal near the Koyambedu depot on Monday.

The deceased, identified as S. Vincent John Kennedy, 51, hailed from Rayanpatti in Tiruchirappalli, and was working as a conductor with the SETC. According to police, passersby spotted the body in a sewage canal located behind the SETC depot. Depot workers later retrieved him, but he was found to be dead.
