Bulk household waste collection camp to be held in Coimbatore city from January 10 to 13

The Coimbatore Corporation will conduct a bulk household waste collection camp across the city from January 10 to 13 to facilitate the organised disposal of large household items.

Ward offices and zonal offices will function as collection centres during the four-day period. The public can hand over items such as old beds, sofas, mattresses, tables, chairs, and other large household waste materials at ward-wise collection points notified by the Corporation.

The Corporation has urged people not to dump such waste along roadsides or in vacant plots and to make use of the special collection camp instead.

For details, people can contact their respective ward sanitary inspectors. The Corporation has sought public cooperation to strengthen waste management and maintain cleanliness in the city.
