A four-day building exhibition organised by the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA) took off in Coimbatore on Friday with Abhay Kumar Mishra, president and Chief Executive Officer of Jindal Realty, New Delhi, inaugurating the 15th edition of Build Intec 2026.

I. Gnanavallal, chairman of Build Intec 2026, said in a press release that the exhibition of architecture, construction, engineering, building materials and allied sectors showcases the latest trends and technology in the construction industry.

It has over 300 stalls put up by 250 exhibitors displaying construction machinery, materials, and projects with stalls in three halls and outdoor exhibition area at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex.

With a total exhibition area of one lakh sq.ft, the event is expected to attract about 40,000 visitors. The Indian Paint & Coating Association, Tamil Nadu UPVC Windows and Doors Fabricating Owners Association, Coimbatore District Hardware Merchants Association, and Precast Manufacturers’ Association of India have also supported the exhibition with exhibitors from 10 States, including Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh.

The exhibition is open from 10 am to 6 pm till February 9.
