Delhi CM Rekha Gupta meeting workers, representatives of workers’ organisations, and gig workers at the Delhi Secretariat in New Delhi on Thursday. | Photo Credit: ANI Ahead of presenting the annual budget next week, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said on Thursday that the government aims to present an inclusive financial plan reflecting the aspirations of farmers, labourers, gig workers and rural communities after holding consultations with various stakeholder groups. Ms. Gupta said the government is taking farmers’ concerns seriously and is working towards practical solutions. She assured that agriculture and rural development would receive special focus in the budget. The Chief Minister said that over the past year the government has made consistent efforts to address long-pending issues and has initiated large-scale improvements in rural infrastructure, supported by increased budget allocations.
