Budget to feature employment opportunities for women: CM

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday said the Delhi budget, to be presented on March 24, will include major initiatives for women and girls. An official statement quoted the CM as saying that women will be provided with employment and entrepreneurship opportunities through small group-based models. The statement came following her visit to the Nirmal Chhaya Complex in west Delhi, where she launched a portal to make child-welfare initiatives more transparent and robust. “It is our resolve that every mother is empowered and every child moves forward with confidence towards a safe, healthy, and bright future,” Ms. Gupta said.
