The movie, directed by Anurag Singh, stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty. The movie is based on the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Sunny Deol plays a senior soldier who inspires his team with his fearless approach. “For a soldier, the border is merely not a line drawn on a map. It’s a promise made to his country that nobody will cross beyond the line where he stands,” he is seen telling his officers in the trailer. The film, a spiritual sequel to JP Dutta’s Border, is mounted on a bigger scale than the 1997 movie. The latest movie shows the assembling of Indian Army, Navy and Airforce to defeat Pakistan in the war. The trailer hints at an emotional war drama with big action set pieces.
