The bodies of the two children who fell into an effluent treatment plant tank and died on the spinning mill premises were sent to Odisha after post-mortem, here on Monday (March 23, 2026). More than 50 migrant labourers are working in a spinning mill at Veppadai Amman Kovil Street and they reside with their families near the mill. On Sunday evening, migrant workers from Odisha, Manoj Kumar’s son Hari Sankar (3) and Pradosh’s son Lohan Kumar (4), who were playing in the locality around 6.30 p.m. went missing.
