To ease peak-hour congestion and improve last-mile connectivity on the Yellow Line, the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has introduced four dedicated Metro feeder bus services connecting Anekal Bus Stand with Delta Electronics Bommasandra Metro Station from Monday. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) coordinated with the BMTC to roll out dedicated feeder services aimed at ensuring seamless connectivity between the metro station and surrounding residential and commercial areas. According to a release, the feeder buses will operate on the Anekal Bus Stand-Delta Electronics Bommasandra Metro Station route via Chikkahagade Cross, Iggaluru, and Chandapura. Services will run throughout the day, covering both peak and non-peak hours, with frequent departures from early morning until late evening.
