BJP woman councillor charges party office-bearers with humiliating, obstructing her from doing duties

A BJP woman councillor shocked the Tenkasi municipality council meeting held on Saturday as she complained about her party’s office-bearers and other BJP councillors of obstructing her from discharging her duty as a member of the municipality and humiliating her through malicious social media campaign.

In the Tenkasi municipality council meeting held on Saturday, Ms. Sunitha, BJP councillor from ward 23, said a BJP office-bearer in Tenkasi town, who was allegedly obstructing her from doing development works in her ward, was spearheading malicious campaign against her on social media and among the party cadre.

“Moreover, the four BJP councillors in Tenkasi municipality council are also hampering me from discharging my duty as the councillor. Despite the malicious campaign, I am working for the development of my ward and the party,” Ms. Sunitha said.
