SHAIKMOHIDEEN The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has urged the Corporation authorities to ensure regular removal of waste discarded by traders of Mahatma Gandhi Market in Palayamkottai along Manakavalan Pillai Hospital Road to create nauseating condition on this busy road. In the petition submitted to Deputy Mayor K.R. Raju, BJP functionaries Swami Subramanian and Karthik Narayanan said the waste getting generated in the 400-odd shops in the recently inaugurated Mahatma Gandhi Market in Palayamkottai was being dumped along the Manakavalan Pillai Hospital Road. The rotten vegetables and the fruits being discarded by the traders along this road give sordid and nauseating look to this road and the market itself.
