The BJP will protest against what the party calls “administrative failures” of Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) led by the Administrator, who is the Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada, in front of MCC’s office in Lalbagh at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. Ramesh Kandettu, president, Mangaluru City South unit of the party, said in a statement on Tuesday that it has been more than a year since the five-year term of the elected council of the corporation ended. “People still call up former councillors to address their grievances as officials do not respond properly to the woes of people,” he alleged.
