Speaking to media persons at the BJP party office here, he said the BJP was an ally of the National Democratic Allaince led by AIADMK in Tamil Nadu. “Our prime enemy in politics is DMK in Tamil Nadu and Congress at the national level.”

There was urgent need to cleanse both parties in the larger public interest and people would put an end to DMK rule by voting them out. Early signals showed that people were jubilant and wanted the NDA to restore the lost sheen of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Srinivasan further said

The corruption and mismanagement in Madurai Corporation witnessed the city sink to a new low. Despite having two ministers, the city had not benefitted in any manner. “What is the use of tall talk when the city stinks,” he said and urged the people to vote without fail for the NDA candidates in Tamil Nadu.
