He met with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan and senior officials of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Ministers Nara Lokesh, Vangalapudi Anitha, K. Archannaidu and Y. Satya Kumar welcomed Mr. Gates at the Vijayawada international airport. He will see natural farming being done with the backing of AI at a farm near Undavalli village before winding up his short visit.
