The District Tourism Promotion Council is inviting bids from private partners to operate and maintain tourism infrastructure facilities at Pasarlapudi and Aadurru along the banks of the river Godavari in Maamidikuduru Mandal in Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema district. In Aadurru, a Buddhist stupa is being conserved by the Archaeological Survey of India along the banks of river Godavari. Developed by the Andhra Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation, these facilities, including an auditorium, restaurant, and water sports infrastructure, have been abandoned over the past few years due to poor maintenance. In an official release, District Collector R. Mahesh Kumar that the interested individuals or groups should have three years of experience in the operation and maintanance of the tourism facilities.
