The former Minister and veteran Lingayat leader Bheemanna Khandre’s health condition is stable, his son and Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre said on Tuesday, appealing to the public not to believe in rumours being circulated on social media. The 102-year-old leader has been undergoing treatment for age-related ailments, including respiratory issues and fluctuating blood pressure, at a private hospital in Bidar for nearly two weeks now. Following a brief deterioration in his health condition, he was shifted to his residence in Bhalki in accordance with his wish to continue treatment at home. A team of doctors is providing continuous medical care with oxygen support. Eshwar Khandre said that his father’s condition has since stabilised and that it is being closely monitored. He urged well-wishers to pray for Bheemanna Khandre’s speedy recovery.
