Bharatanatyam Arangetram in Hubballi tomorrow

The Hubballi branch of Natyanjali Dance Academy will host a Bharatanatyam Arangetram of Sushma Kongi and Nisarga Goddemmi at Sawai Gandharva Hall in Hubballi on Saturday.

Addressing presspersons in Hubballi on Thursday, president of Natyanjali Nrutya Kala Kendra Pradeep Bhat said that the programme will commence at 4.30 p.m. and the debutant danseuses will present Pushpanjali, Alaripu, Ganesh Stuti, Shiva Stuti, Varnam and Tillana as part of their ranga pravesh.

Chairman of Majethia Foundation Jitendra Majethia and Pradeep Sharma from IBMR Group of Institutions will be the chief guests.

Mr. Pradeep Bhat said that Sushma Kongi and Nisarga Goddemmi will be presenting dance drama “Narasimha’  in honour of their Guru Sahana Bhat.

Mr. Pradeep Bhat has written the lyrics for the dance drama.

Dr. Sahana Bhat (Natuvanga), Vidwan Balasubramanya Sharma (Vocal), Vidwan Vidya Shankar (Mrudangam), Vidwan Arun Kumar (rhythm pad) and Vidwan Raghu Simha (flute) will be the accompanying artistes for the performances.
