Representative image. | Photo Credit: Murali Kumar K Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) on Sunday (March 29, 2026) announced a temporary disruption in services on the Purple Line owing to scheduled maintenance work. According to BMRCL Chief Public Relations Officer B.L. Yeshwanth Chavan, train services between Garudacharpalya Metro Station and M.G. Road Metro station were suspended from 7 a.m. to 7.45 a.m on Sunday (29 March). “Train services on the Purple Line between Garudacharpalya Metro Station and M.G. Road Metro station are temporarily suspended from 7 am to 7.45 am due to maintenance work. Services are expected to resume at 7.45 am,” he said.
