In a bid to improve enforcement against unauthorised banners and hoardings in the city, Bengaluru corporations are planning new measures such as fixing accountability and introducing a “night patrol” system. Among the major reasons behind the banner issue in the city are poor ground-level enforcement, lack of coordination, and the timing of banner installations.
