After several complaints were received from the public and political parties about voters’ names not appearing in the wards where they reside, the revised draft voters’ list for 369 wards across five corporations under the Greater Bangalore Authority (GBA) was published on Monday (March 9, 2026). According to the revised draft list, there are 8,024 polling stations, and a total of 88,92,528 voters. Previously, there were 88,91,411 voters, as per the GBA.

According to the revised draft electoral roll, the voting list comprises of 45,69,752 men, 43,21,143 women and 1,633 voters in ‘other’ category. Among the wards, Ward No. 51 Subramanya Nagar in the Bengaluru South City Corporation has the highest number of voters at 54,026, while Ward No. 16 Kottur in the Bengaluru East City Corporation has the lowest number at 10,940 voters.
