Bandi Sanjay Kumar | Photo Credit: KARIMNAGAR Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay on Thursday termed Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s claims on release of ₹1,400 crore to the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation (KMC) as ‘ridiculous’. Mr. Sanjay dared the Chief Minister to release a White Paper detailing when and for which development works the funds were released in the last two years. Addressing a street-corner meeting at Bommakal road in the poll-bound Karimnagar on Thursday evening, he alleged that Mr Revanth Reddy was resorting to false claims for electoral gains. “It is ridiculous on the part of Mr Reddy to criticise the BJP on Congress government’s failure to take action against the BRS leaders involved in scams during the previous BRS regime,” he said. Asserting that he had brought ₹1,500 crore for the development of KMC, Mr Sanjay said, “The details are printed in a booklet and being circulated to every house in Karimnagar.” Earlier in the day, Mr Sanjay addressed civic poll campaign meetings in Huzurabad and Jammikunta towns.
