He attended as the chief guest for the 119th birth anniversary of Jagjivan Ram held in Etcherla women’s hostel in Srikakulam district. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Jagjivan Ram played a vital role in the Indian independence movement and as member of Constituent Assembly. He said that the former Deputy PM inspired many youngsters with his role as a Defence Minister during Indo-Pak war in the year 1971 and inspired many youngsters to join armed forces. Mr. Sitaram urged students to read biography of Jagjivan Ram and adopt his ideals to serve the society in a better way in future.
