Saravanan on Thursday participated in the voter awareness programmes held across the district. As part of the initiative, awareness stickers with a message to achieve 100 % voter turnout were pasted on the ration shops in the district in all seven Assembly constituencies. Pamphlets with messages on the importance of voting were distributed to the public and banners with such messages were also displayed at public spaces, as part of the awareness campaign. Earlier, as part of the awareness campaign, awareness stickers were pasted on gas cylinders, at the ATM centres, banks, public and private transport vehicles and also banners with such messages were displayed at shops and other places. All eligible voters should exercise their franchise. People should cast their vote without fail in the Assembly elections adopting the motto ‘My Vote, My Right’, said a press release issued by Dindigul district administration.
