Veteran technocrat E. Sreedharan will lead an awareness programme about the proposed high-speed rail line at the municipal bus-stand auditorium here on Monday (March 9). The programme will begin at 10.30 a.m., said an official note from Mr. Sreedharan’s office. Mr. Sreedharan had announced a few days ago that the high-speed rail line from Thiruvananthapuram to Kannur would cover 465 km in three hours and 20 minutes. There will be two stops in the district at Malappuram and Karipur airport, he said.
