The Silver Jubilee celebrations of Avanthi Engineering College, Makavarapalem, in Anakapalli district, were held on Wednesday. Speaker of the AP Legislative Assembly, Ch Ayyanna Patrudu, attended as the chief guest. The event was presided over by the founder of Avanthi Educational Institutions, former Minister M. Srinivasa Rao. Vice-Chancellor of JNTU-GV Vizianagaram, Prof. V. V. Subba Rao, attended as the guest of honor. The chief guest along with other dignitaries inaugurated the newly constructed Silver Jubilee Block on the occasion.
