The Wildlife authorities of Andhra Pradesh State forest department and expert committee constituted by the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) have launched a fresh drive to tranquillise the transient tiger which is roaming near Pampa reservoir near Annavaram temple area in Kakinada district.

On Monday, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests P. V. Chalapathi Rao, Chief Conservator of Forests (Rajahmundry) Mr. Srikantanadha Reddy and Kakinada District Forest Officer N. Ramachandra Rao rushed to the spot to monitor and assess the possibilities to tranquillise the tiger.
